Hi Reme!

Hope you've had a fine summer. It has been great for us, nothing can top our vacation in Riverdale and your house. We just want to thank you for making this vacation possible, for making us all feel so welcome and for taking so good care of us. Your house is so comfortable, so cozy and homely, it really made us feel like we had a home away from home. The combination of peace and quiet in Riverdale, being able to sit on the back-porch watching raccoons and squirrel and then have Manhattan just a short subway ride away, perfect! We have all ready made plans for another visit to NYC, and we hope we can stay at your house again. We hope too see you again soon

HI Reme!!! Just wanted to say thank you for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay we all loved it!!!!!  Your home is so warm and welcoming and so at home feeling, we would recommend your place to everyone.  The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the city when you are trying to rest from all of the excitement of the big apple!!! We really appreciate as well your help with the Taxi service, we were a little panicky at that point but things did work out all for the good.  Again, thanks for that assistance.  We were attending a wedding in Brooklyn the whole reason for our stay  and they were all complaining about it was so far from them and that we should try and get a place closer, but if we had to do it again we would still stay at your place and catch the train like we did to Brooklyn, so no regrets for us.  It was just perfect!!!  Just like on the web site, that was much appreciated, because some places fool you and once you arrive it is nothing like the pictures on the web site, those are like the "something like that pictures" but it was just what we expected!!!!!

Reme Aldana vous réserve un accueil très sympa et hyper efficace. Une maison de rêve où l'on se sent chez soi dès son arrivée. Le trajet en bus et métro (en toute sécurité, à toute heure ...) pour atteindre Manhattan est largement compensé par le grand confort de la Villa Riverdale. C'est vraiment une location idéale pour 8/9 personnes pour de vraies vacances à la new-yorkaise. On a adoré !

Dear Reme:

Now that we have returned home from an exceptional eight-day stay in Barcelona, I wanted to share a few thoughts by way of feedback.

 

First, I want to thank you for your helpfulness and responsiveness - far beyond the call of duty - in the weeks leading up to our visit, and during the course of the visit itself.  I had so many questions in anticipation of our stay, and you were always patient, informative, and caring.  One doesn't really expect this when renting an apartment for a week, so it made a big difference for us.

 

Second, let me touch upon the apartment itself, and the location of Eixample.  The apartment was secure, clean, roomy, well-equipped, and comfortable.  Our party of four had more than enough room, and the kitchen, air conditioning, bathroom, etc. were all top notch.

As to location, we couldn't imagine a better neighborhood as the home-base for our stay.  We loved the restaurants, shopping, and neighborhood life all around the building - to say nothing of the safety we always felt.  And we walked just about everywhere, including down Ramblas to the shore, up and down Gracia, and elsewhere.  When we return to Barcelona, I will only want to stay in Eixample.

Reviewing: New York Villa. 
We were also sorry to have to fly off at 6am in the morning without seeing you, to thank you in person. We were all just delighted with your warm and inviting house. They were nearly as warm and inviting as YOU !!!!  Our stay there at your house was just the icing on the cake to end a wonderful trip. Thank you so much, for everything. Going out of your way to accommodate us at a manageable price; bringing down your laptop; etc etc. You are a generous host. 
I have 7 sisters, Reme, and they were keen to see photos of your house and thought it looked as good as we described. A couple of them are talking of traveling soon-ish so hopefully you'll get some referred business, you deserve it!  Again,  many thanks

We can definitely recommend this property! This is a complete housing with a lot of beds, rooms and space. It is completely stuffed with all things you need to live there for a time (Kitchen, Living room with a LARGE TV, ...). We stayed there with eight persons and there was plenty of room for each of us! Dear Reme,  

Hope you had a “Happy New Year”.  We certainly did.  

The apartment was just perfect.  We had everything we needed and were very comfortable.

The kitchen is fabulous and the whole apartment is spacious and roomy. The neighborhood is very safe and nice.  We got to know the folks at the internet café around the corner quite well.  The metro stop close to the apartment made it very convenient to get around the city. Jen is a wizard when it comes to metros.  She had us “zipping around” all over the place.  We visited everything !!!! It was all so amazing, the Gaudi buildings, The Sagrada, the museums.  We loved Las Ramblas and Plaza de Catalunya.  We found El Corte Ingles the first night and that is where we purchased our groceries.  What a surprise when we discovered they had a wonderful food store in the basement.

Fran was very nice and very helpful.  Next time you speak to him, tell him thank you again for us.  I talk about the apartment to my friends almost as much I talk about the sites we saw in Barcelona . We are so happy we found your apartment and it was available for us. Barcelona will defiantly be one of our more memorable vacations.

Dear Raquel,

I just thought I would E mail you to let you know what a good holiday we had !!!.

 

The apartment in Blanes was just perfect, would you please also once again thank your parent's, the Apartment is a credit to you all.

 

Next year we may be looking to go a bit further down in Spain, have you any other apartments or know of any we may be interested in ?.If you do maybe you could let me know prices, we would be looking for end of July august departure for 14nights.
